100% Fresh Fruit Popsicles from A Thousand Crumbs

Happy Labor Day!  It’s time to fire up those BBQ’s and celebrate the unofficial end to Summer!  How are you enjoying the day, and more importantly, what’s for dessert?  These gorgeous popsicles come together in a snap and what better way to salute the season than with fresh homemade popsicles?  Plus, they are 100% fruit, which means 0% guilt, and 1000% tasty and nutritious, which means you can eat 2 or 3 or 5!  They are even Candida Plan friendly!

I used a base of puréed bananas for the best texture and then made two flavors – pineapple/lime and raspberry/lemon.  They are both insanely delicious with a slight tartness with the added citrus and the perfect cool treat to satisfy that sweet tooth!

100% Fresh Fruit Popsicles - Raspberry/Lemon and Pineapple/Lime

Print Recipe
Serves: 6 Cooking Time: 5 Hours


  • 1 1/2 - 2 medium bananas
  • 2 1/2 - 3 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • zest from 1 lime
  • juice from 1-2 limes, to taste
  • -----OR-----
  • 1 1/2 - 2 medium bananas
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • zest from 1 lemon
  • juice from 1-2 lemons, to taste



Purée ingredients in a food processor to desired consistency.


Pour equal amounts into popsicle mold, and freeze until solid. About 5 hours.
