    The Best Homemade Taco Seasoning

    Homemade Taco Seasoning

I don't know about you, but I keep homemade tacos on rotation monthly.  Okay fine, sometimes weekly.  But I used to cringe every time I ripped open one of those seasoning packets and realized all of the unnecessary and terrible ingredients plaguing my meal.  Not anymore! This homemade taco seasoning is a serious Taco Tuesday game changer!

I started doing some research and taste testing, and came up with the best homemade taco seasoning ever!  Not only is it cheaper than the packaged stuff, it tastes a million times better because you have control over how spicy you want it, and can adjust to your own flavor liking. I personally like a little bit of kick to my taco meat, so I like to add a little cayenne pepper. If you're more mildly inclined, leave it out.

This homemade taco seasoning is also tomato free.  Why is that important you ask?  I have a lot of friends that are allergic to tomatoes and many taco seasonings have tomato powder in them.  I believe you should not have to miss out on Taco Tuesday just because you're allergic to nightshades!

I store my taco seasoning in a small glass jar and keep it in the pantry. You never have to worry about having one of those little packets on hand for when your taco craving hits.

P.S. Did I mention that it is also Candida Plan friendly?  It's also Whole30, Paleo, and Keto friendly.
